House Rules
Important things to mention:
- The individual booking the stay will provide a government issued ID after booking and will be present at the property during the entire stay to help facilitate the safety rules below.
- Smoking is prohibited inside the house.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-7am. No loud music during this time.
- The water is clean and safe to swim and fish!
- No diving off the boat docks into to the lake. The water is very shallow. (3ft) Swim at your own risk.
- No diving, pushing, rough housing, food, or glass allowed in the pool. Please no yelling after quiet hours which start at 10pm. Swim at your own risk.
- No one under 14 years of age is allowed in the pool without an adult present.
- Guests assume all liability while swimming, performing water sports and understand the dangers of renting next to a large body of water.
- Guest must read the entire “House Rules” section and agree to the terms before booking their stay.
- Please Note: Excessive messes, spills or stains, not following house rules, and missing items will incur additional fees and could result in being evicted with no refund!
Welcome to our home! We hope you enjoy your time here and have a pleasant experience in our home. Please feel free to reach out to us at ANYTIME for assistance or with any questions or concerns.
- #1 PLEASE Do not allow guests to gather out in front of the house for not reason other than arriving and departing. If your guests are leaving during quiet hours of 10pm-7am, please ask them to be courteous to the neighbors and keep the noise to a minimum.
- Please don't leave any trash outside or in receptacles upon departure. All trash should be bagged and left in the trash cans provided. Trash is not allowed on the grass in the front of the property. ALL trash should be left in the black or green trash cans. Any trash left elsewhere is subject to a removal fee. Please ensure all trash cans are emptied and new trash bags are placed in the containers.
- NO SMOKING INSIDE THE HOME. ALL SMOKING MUST BE DONE OUTSIDE IN THE BACK AND NOT INSIDE YOUR CARS OR IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE. If you smoke inside there will be a $500 charge for the violation of this policy to remove the smell professionally. Please do not leave any butts anywhere on the property. Prior to leaving, please check for discarded cigarette butts and any other trash that may be on the curb or anywhere on the property or on the street.
- The Bluetooth device name for the LG Sound Bar in the living room is {LG} webOS NANO80NA and for Patio Speaker Ignite.
- You can also play Pandora/IHeart/stream from the refrigerator.
- Please DO NOT USE THE TOWELS TO REMOVE YOUR MAKEUP. There will be a $25 replacement charge for all damaged towels. Towels for the pool are located in the tiger boxes behind the couch in the family room. Please feel free to bring your own towels. Please put all towels in the laundry baskets in the hallway by the back door or upstairs in the laundry baskets spread throughout the house. We will provide you with a count the day of your visit. Please ensure you count the towels before you leave to avoid being charged $25/each missing towel.
- Kitchen: We have provided white rags to use to clean up spills or wipe down counters on top of the microwave. Please place them in the bucket by the side door after use. Please leave the kitchen the same way it was when you checked in. Do not leave any dirty dishes in the sink. You may place them in the dishwasher. ALL ceramic dishes and glasses are off limit for use for events unless agreed upon in advance. Please bring your own plastic/paper utensils/plates/cups. Pantry is off limits unless you have discussed access prior to your event. Any ITEMS used without prior consent is subject to a replacement fee. Please bring your own herbs and spices outside of salt and pepper.
- We have a refrigerator to store your cold/frozen items. Our food is OFF LIMITS to you and your guest and ask that you respect our personal belongings. Any items found missing or used will be subject to a replacement fee.
- Decorating - If you are decorating, we ask that you please take the confetti balloons to a trash can and pop them or not use them at all. Please do not leave confetti all over the house on the floors. There will be an extra cleaning fee charged of $50 if there's excessive confetti or decorations left after you check-out.
- We will walk you thru how to operate the pool equipment upon check-in.
- Please be advised there are to be no parties, events, or extra guest allowed on the property without our permission. We reserve the right to visit the property to check and ensure that there are no more guests than originally booked and approved in the property. We will also return and stay if we have any complaints from our neighbors about the number of guests or noise coming from the property.
- IMPORTANT - Please make sure all noise in the back is brought to a minimum after 10pm. There is a noise ordinance and neighbors will call the Police. If we discover that you have broken these rules, we will ask you to leave, and you will lose your deposit and NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. Please do not try to be slick and get over, as there are cameras on the property in front and backyard, as well as a noise monitor to help minimize these issues.
- Please use discretion when in common areas. Please DO NOT TAMPER WITH, MOVE. COVER, BLOCK, OR TURN OFF ANY CAMERAS. IF WE DISCOVER THE CAMERAS HAVE BEEN TAMPERED WITH, WE WILL RETURN TO THE PROPERTY TO ESCORT YOU OFF THE PREMISES AND YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Please avoid taking drinks upstairs that will stain the carpets. There is to be no eating or drinking in the bedrooms at any time. We expect you to treat our home with respect and take great care of our home while you are staying with us. Please let us know DURING YOUR STAY if there is anything we can do to make your stay more pleasurable. Please don't wait until after you leave to voice any issues. Allow us the opportunity to make your stay a FIVE STAR STAY!
